How MEMtra uses AI, where humans are involved, and how we design for trust.
How MEMtra Uses AI
MEMtra uses artificial intelligence to help you capture, organize, and recall visual memories. AI is central to making MEMtra useful – but we believe you should understand exactly how it works.
Image interpretation
AI analyzes uploaded and captured photos to identify objects, tools, people, locations, areas, and context.
Natural-language search
Ask MEMtra questions in plain language and AI searches your visual memory to find answers.
Voice search
Voice input is processed locally via Web Speech API for hands-free search. Transcribed text is used like any typed query.
Workflow triggers
AI powers vision-based triggers that detect events like falls, object appearances, motion, or safety concerns – including construction PM integrations.
Memory recall
Timeline and Memory Quiz features use AI to help you review and strengthen your visual recall.
Human Oversight
While AI handles much of the analysis, some areas involve human review to ensure safety and quality.
Safety moderation – Content flagged by AI as potentially harmful or unsafe is reviewed by platform administrators.
Flagged uploads – Uploads that exceed risk thresholds are queued for admin review before further action.
Workflow review – Workflow triggers and alert patterns may be reviewed when necessary for platform quality control.

Confidence & Limitations
AI results may be imperfect. Tags, descriptions, and search results are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies.
Alerts and workflow triggers are assistive tools, not guaranteed detection systems.
Users should always verify important events independently, especially in safety-critical contexts.
MEMtra is not a medical device, certified safety monitor, or emergency response substitute.
User Control
You are always in control of your MEMtra experience:
Manage and delete your uploads
Review and edit your workflows
Control notification preferences
Disconnect integrations at any time
Delete your data and account
Manage connected apps like Google Drive and Dropbox
Responsible Use
MEMtra is designed to support memory, organization, and safety awareness. We encourage all users to use MEMtra responsibly and with consent in any monitored or shared spaces.
