MEMtra is built with privacy at its core. We believe your visual memories are deeply personal, and we treat them that way. Your photos and the metadata generated from them are yours – always.
What We Collect
Photos you upload or capture for visual memory processing
AI-generated tags, descriptions, and context derived from your photos
Photo metadata such as timestamps and GPS coordinates (when available)
Account information (name, email) when you sign in
Workflow configurations, notification preferences, and connected app settings
Voice search transcriptions (processed locally via Web Speech API, not stored)
Usage data to improve app performance and reliability
How We Use Your Data
Photos are processed by AI to generate searchable tags, descriptions, and context
Your data is used solely to provide MEMtra's features to you
We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data or photos
Workflow automations run only on your data and with your configured actions
Notifications are generated based on your configured preferences and workflow rules
Construction PM webhook integrations send data only to endpoints you explicitly configure
Private by Default
MEMtra operates on a private-by-default model. Your photos, memories, and workflows are visible only to you. Admin access exists solely for platform safety moderation and is limited to reviewing content flagged by automated systems.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Photos and metadata are stored in isolated, user-specific containers. We use secure connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission.
Third-Party Services & Connected Apps
MEMtra uses AI services (such as Claude by Anthropic) for image analysis. Photos sent for analysis are processed according to those providers' privacy policies and are not retained by them for training purposes.
When you connect external apps like Google Drive or Dropbox, data is shared only as you explicitly configure. Cloud backup and workflow integrations are user-controlled.
